Obama Listens to Students' Concerns on Education Costs

But the Taylor resident, who attends WCCC's northwest campus in Detroit, said she’s about $1,500 short on being able to pay for board and certification tests, leaving her unsure if she’ll be able to complete her education.

'There are costs I simply can’t afford,' she told Sen. Barack Obama today, who came to WCCC’s Taylor campus to discuss how college can be more affordable. 'I’ve already taken out the maximum amount of loans. And I’m now at a point of either being able to pay tuition or take my tests.'"
