Holy shit. I was watching a national TV show this afternoon, and this commercial aired…I thought I was hallucating! If not for the fact I just saw this commercial on national TV, I would have bet my entire measly bank account that this was an SNL skit. Who the fuck comes up with this shit? Healthcare reform is a joke. How is it with two years of a controlled democratic presidency, Senate, and House. They couldnt get a proper deal passed??? And employments lower than when it was in president Bush’s 8 year stint. Its at a record low. Dont speak to me on the betterment of the country. Obama is not even a good president. And you dont speak for ALL women in the USA so dont pass your opinions off as everyone elses.
How many people DIDN’T benefit from all those things? By your logic it seems that the majority should suffer, so the minority can benefit. And no, these steps are not restoring our country to it’s former greatness, in fact it’s doing quite the opposite. Get your head out of the sand please, before it’s too late.
That opinion isn’t shared by women who benefited from the Lilly Ledbetter Act, anyone that’s no longer getting hosed by their credit card company, veterans who’ve had their funding increased, beneficiaries of student loan reform, the 3 million people who wouldn’t have been employed without the stimulus, the 31 million who will benefit from Health Care Reform, nor the millions more who know that these steps were necessary to restore our country to its former greatness.
